Σε αυτό το ταξίδι μπορεί η εκπαίδευση του επόπτη να καταλαμβάνει ένα κυρίαρχο ρόλο αλλά συμβάλλουν πολλοί παράγοντες ώστε να καταφέρει ο εποπτευόμενος να στηριχθεί και να παρέχει την υπηρεσία του συμβούλου ή του ψυχοθεραπευτή. Σκοπός της εποπτείας είναι ο εποπτευόμενος να κατανοήσει την φύση της συμβουλευτικής και της ψυχοθεραπείας, να εξερευνήσει τις δυνατότητες και τις ικανότητες του και μέσα από τη δική του ενδοσκόπηση, να μάθει να αντιλαμβάνεται τις προκλήσεις και τα ρίσκα της θέσης του.[/fusion_text][/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
