Ως κοινωνικά όντα, έχουμε μια έμφυτη τάση για σύνδεση. Από τον δεσμό που αναπτύσσουμε με αυτούς που μας φροντίζουν στη βρεφική ηλικία έως τις βαθιές σχέσεις που σφυρηλατούμε με τους φίλους, την οικογένεια και τους συντρόφους που επιλέγουμε, η ζωή μας διαμορφώνεται από την ποιότητα αυτών των σχέσεων.
Η ζωή δεν είναι μια στατική κατάσταση στην οποία φτάνουμε και κρατάμε. Είναι ένα διαρκές ταξίδι εμβάθυνσης των συνδέσεων και της καλλιέργειας δεσμών, όχι μόνο με τις στενές σχέσεις μας. Περιλαμβάνει τον ευρύτερο ιστό της κοινωνίας ανθρώπων στην οποία βιώνουμε, μέσα στον οποίον βρίσκουμε κοινά νήματα που μας ενώνουν όλους: η ενσυναίσθηση και η κατανόηση μιας αίσθησης κοινής ανθρωπιάς. Μέσω αυτής της διαδικασίας συνειδητοποιούμε ότι δεν είμαστε μόνοι. Σε όλη τη διάρκεια του ταξιδιού μας, συναντάμε πολύ διαφορετικούς συνανθρώπους μας, που αφήνουν ανεξίτηλα αποτυπώματα στην καρδιά και στο μυαλό μας. Αυτές οι συνδέσεις μας δίνουν μια αίσθηση του ανήκειν, μας διαμορφώνουν και μας εξελίσσουν. Αυτή η εξέλιξη της προσωπικής μας ανάπτυξης, μας ακολουθεί καθ’ όλη τη διάρκεια της ζωής μας, αδιάκοπη και εμπλουτισμένη μέσω των εμπειριών μας και των αναπόφευκτων αλλαγών που βιώνουμε.
Δυστυχώς, ή μάλλον ευτυχώς, δεν υπάρχει εγχειρίδιο χρήσης για τη ζωή. Την ιστορία μας τη γράφουμε μέσα από τις σχέσεις μας, μέσα από επιτυχίες και αποτυχίες, μέσα από λύπες και χαρές, θέτοντας στόχους και προσπαθώντας να τους πετύχουμε, συχνά πειραματιζόμενοι. Και έτσι προχωράμε. Δεν υπάρχουν μονόδρομοι, η αλλαγή είναι εφικτή καθώς αλλάζουν οι ανάγκες, οι εμπειρίες, οι παραστάσεις και τα “θέλω” μας. Η ψυχοθεραπεία μπορεί να μας βοηθήσει ουσιαστικά στο να διαχειριστούμε καλύτερα τις προκλήσεις της ζωής και να βρούμε το δρόμο μας.
Είμαι Σύμβουλος Ψυχικής Υγείας με εξειδίκευση στη συνθετική ψυχοθεραπεία. Έχω αποφοιτήσει από το University of East London με μεταπτυχιακά (MSc) στην Ψυχολογία και την Συμβουλευτική και Ψυχοθεραπεία και είμαι μέλος της Ελληνικής Εταιρείας Συμβουλευτικής. Με βάση την εξειδίκευση μου στη συνθετική ψυχοθεραπεία, ασχολούμαι με θέματα ψυχικής υγείας, προσεγγίζοντας τον κάθε άνθρωπο με βάση τα μοναδικά στοιχεία και χαρακτηριστικά του. Ο στόχος μου είναι να βοηθήσω τους ανθρώπους να βελτιώσουν την ψυχική τους ευημερία και να ενισχύσουν την προσωπική τους ανάπτυξη.
